Use your AI Employees from ChatGPT

Connect ChatGPT (or Claude) to your AI Employees account. Then you can ask about your staff, tasks and files right in the chat. You sign in with your AI Employees account and approve the connection.

What the assistant can do

Read only

  • See the list of AI employees.
  • See your own saved tasks and their status.
  • See the names and types of your desk files (not what is inside them).
  • See your own phone assistants, phone numbers and call status.

Actions (your assistant should ask you first)

  • Send an email from an employee with your desk files attached.
  • Share a desk file by email or text message.
  • Start or end a phone call, and set up phone numbers for your employees. Phone numbers may cost money with the phone provider.

Getting an AI employee to write a reply through ChatGPT is turned off for now. Chat with your employees in the app instead.

You only ever see your own data. You can remove the connection at any time in your assistant's settings.

Connect

ChatGPT

  1. Open ChatGPT Apps settings and turn on Developer mode. Read the notice shown there. If you can't, ask your ChatGPT admin.
  2. Open the New plugin window.
  3. Type the name "AI Employees" and paste the address above.
  4. Check "I understand and want to continue" (ChatGPT shows this for every custom app), then click Create.
  5. Sign in to AI Employees and click Approve.
  6. Turn on the app in the chat box, then ask ChatGPT to use it.

Claude

  1. Open Claude's add connector window. The name and address are filled in.
  2. Check the details and click Add. Then sign in and click Approve.
  3. If the window doesn't open, go to Claude's Connectors page, choose "Add custom connector", and paste the address.
  4. Turn on the connector in the chat box, then ask Claude to use it.

Claude Code

Run this one line in a terminal:

claude mcp add --scope user --transport http ai-employees 'https://agentic-employees.com/mcp'

Start Claude Code and type /mcp to sign in and check it is connected.

Other AI assistants

  1. Open the assistant's MCP or custom connector settings.
  2. Add a remote MCP server, name it, and paste the address.
  3. Sign in and approve, then turn it on and ask the assistant to use it.

Get the newest tools after an update

ChatGPT

Open Plugins, pick AI Employees, scroll to Information and click Refresh. Then start a new chat. If the address ever changes, delete the app and connect again.

Claude

Open Connectors, pick AI Employees and refresh its tools. If the address changes, remove it and connect again.

Claude Code

Start a new session. If the address changes, run claude mcp remove ai-employees and run the command above again.

Other AI assistants

Open the connection settings and refresh, reload or reconnect. Then start a new chat.
